On July 14, the unveiling ceremony of the "Active Building Daye Laboratory" was held at Taoli Farm, Zhaoshan Village, Baoan Town. Hao Shengyong, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, Gui Xuewen, chief architect and professor-level senior architect of Zhongnan Architectural Design Institute Co., Ltd., Lin Peng, Secretary-General of China Urban Research Institute of Tsinghua University, and Song Yehao, professor of Tsinghua Institute of Architecture, attended the ceremony and jointly unveiled the Taoli Farm.

It is understood that with the joint support of the Municipal Party Committee, Municipal Government and the Active Building Alliance, the Taoli Farm project in Zhaoshan Village has been set up as the "Active Building Daye Laboratory" and will be included in the national key topic "Extreme Climate and Typical Environment" Demonstration project of a New Paradigm of Carbon Neutralization Building Technology.


Taoli Farm is located below the Zhaoshan Reservoir Dam, covering an area of about 16 acres and a total building area of 3019 square meters. It adopts "local style, immersive experience; traditional industries, modern needs; The design idea of "local materials, low-carbon transformation" activates and utilizes the waste soil yard factory buildings, makes full use of the original architectural characteristics and rural landscape environment on the basis of existing buildings, and cooperates with surrounding scenic spots to build immersive local cultural experience venues, relying on Sustainable organic renewal model to create a sample of low-carbon demonstration buildings throughout the life cycle.

The design of the project cleverly integrates peach cultural elements. When tourists walk here, it is as if they have entered an art palace that perfectly integrates peach culture and architectural culture. Here, you can see the growth process of peach, the display of literary works, and the ingenious ideas and superb craftsmanship contained in the building. The farm is equipped with basic supporting facilities such as milk tea shops, cafes, and restaurants. It is an agricultural, cultural and tourism complex that integrates tourism distribution, ticketing for scenic spots, cultural and creative exhibitions, etc.
