Dog blood peach is a specialty of Baoan Town, Daye City and is recognized as a certification trademark of China geographical indication.
There are 12 villages in the town and nearly 4000 farmers grow dog blood peaches. Due to the pure ecological planting and application of farm manure, the peaches grown are large, the flesh is fresh and red inside, has sufficient moisture, is sweet and crisp, and also has a unique natural fragrance, which is the best among similar products. The picking period is generally only in June and July, with only 20-30 days to try.
